What We Do
Youth groups and Confirmation classes are some of the first places where students will ask big questions about life, death, suffering, morality, etc. Between praise and worship nights, service trips, prayer services, games, and liturgies, it can be hard to make time for deep, intellectual conversation that gets to the meat of these questions.
that’s why we’re here
The Newman Forum exists to provide supplementary, intellectual programming for your teens. Whether it’s bringing a group of your students to one of our conferences, or hosting us for one of your youth group nights, we help high school students integrate their spiritual lives with their intellectual questions. We can lead your kids in a round table discussion on a topic they’re concerned about, provide a lecture before heading out on a service trip, or host your group at Gavin House before a conference. We’re here to connect Catholic teens to the long history of Catholic thought. Because even if high schoolers don’t think it: The Church has a LOT to say on all sorts of issues!
